Prominent Ear Correction

The medical term for prominent ear correction is either ‘pinnaplasty’ or ‘otoplasty’. The purpose of the operation is to adjust the position of the ears so that they do not protrude.

In adults the surgery is usually carried out on a daycare basis.  Depending on the extent of the surgery, you may be recommended either a local or general anaesthetic.
